Holland-Controls has been awarded the PO for the modernisation of the Oseberg A and C platforms in Norway. This concerns the upgrade of the FT100 and FT110 systems for eight RB211 turbine packages and two electric motor drives.
The Oseberg Field Centre consists of three platforms: Oseberg A, B and D, connected to each other by bridges, in the southern part of the Oseberg field. Oseberg C is a separate platform. The operator is Statoil, in partnership with Petoro, Total, ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips. Engineering has already started and installation will commence in 2017. The scope consists of (but not limited to):
- Unit Control System PLC with integrated safety, power supply set up, auxiliary components and software
- HMI systems and architecture for these packages with remote (on-shore) support ability
- All fuel systems (gas and diesel) with new electric control and isolation valves.
